Inspections - What RE Teachers Need to Know

[30.07.09]

The new Framework for the inspection of maintained schools from September 2009 has been made available on the Ofsted website. The Framework highlights the key features of the new inspection arrangements which have been driven by a greater focus on improvement, the views of parents and pupils and ‘narrowing the gap’.

In order to introduce RE teachers to this new framework, Alan Brine HMI, the National Adviser for RE, has written an article (Improving School Inspections: What RE Teachers Need to Know) for Unlocking RE, REonline's termly journal on all things RE.

This is an extremely useful piece so please do take a look: http://news.reonline.org.uk/article.php?31
